PMAS Excellence Awards 2022
The Property Managers' Association Scotland Limited (PMAS) is the leading association representing professional Property Factor firms in Scotland.
The PMAS 2022 Annual Dinner and Excellence Awards took place at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Friday 11th March 2022
This was the Association’s first event since 2019 and included the inaugural PMAS Excellence Awards designed to recognise, reward and celebrate those individuals in the property management and factoring sector who go ‘above and beyond’ to deliver exemplary service to clients, customers and colleagues.
James Gibb had many staff nominated, 2 of whom were short listed by the Judges in their respective categories, Sebastian Walls in the ‘Rising Star’ category and Jacqui Stead in the ‘Support Staff Member of the Year’ category.
James Gibb Deputy CEO David Reid received the final accolade of the evening winning the ‘Above & Beyond Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry 2022.’
On receiving his award David said “I am truly surprised and humbled to have received the award. It means a lot to me, as it is an award for the team I work with, along with our external stakeholder partners. I have worked in this industry for almost 25 years and throughout that time I have always been conscious that the work I do is entirely part of a wider team effort and on this occasion, this award does not in reality, recognise my contribution, it recognises the contribution everyone at James Gibb makes each day.
The last 2 years have been exceptionally hard for everyone, but I am reminded every day how professional and hardworking our staff are. We have worked together to continue to deliver and improve our services to customers as well as with contractors and other partners.
Thanks to everyone at James Gibb for the work that they do, for supporting me and all colleagues throughout the business and for making James Gibb a great place to work, for doing it the right way for each other and our customers; and for making sure we remain the Factor of Choice in this industry”.
