Emergency assistance

James Gibb operates an Emergency and Out of Hours Control Centre providing a 24hour, 365day customer service helpdesk facility for all emergencies such as Fire, Storm, Flood etc., which may arise over the holiday period.

Please call 0333 240 8325 for emergency assistance. Please note that non-emergency calls will not be dealt with outwith the office hours stated above and the helpdesk will advise you to contact us when the James Gibb office re-opens. 

Building Surveying

Major repair works

We always ensure our customers are made aware of any major repair works necessary to maintain the common property. We provide advice on how best to approach major works, which require specialist contractors and outsourced, experienced project managers. The project management team will design the specification, seek competitive contractor estimates and manage the project from start to end, signing off the work prior to supplier payment.  

James Gibb will recommend the appointment of professionally qualified surveyors, architects and structural engineers etc., to provide the required specifications for major repair projects. The appointment of such professionals will incur additional costs. Also, we have access to a team of quantity surveyors who can assist in assessing matters, on a development by development basis.
