Out of Hours Emergency

24-hours emergency support is critical in the provision of property maintenance and repair services and it is vital that customers have immediate access to help and information 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

James Gibb fully appreciates the stress coping with an emergency can cause. Immediately getting the issue successfully resolved for our customers is our top priority. We operate an out of hours emergency control centre providing a 24-hours, 365 days customer service helpdesk and emergency call out service to ensure that in the event of an emergency arising, we can immediately provide customers with expert help.

Please be aware that our out of hours contractors are principally on call to attend to communal matters and repairs.

Private repairs

You may request a private repair (within the home) from our out of hours contractors. Should they agree to attend, this will be a private matter between you and the contractor, unless the issue is of a communal nature, for example a leaking common stack pipe.

Please be aware that if the emergency relates to your property only, you may be charged for a contractor attending. Also, contractors can charge a much higher rate outwith normal working hours.
