James Gibb residential factors has been around for over 140 years in one form or another. Starting out life as a family business in 1872, to an eventual takeover in 2012, there’s one thing you can depend on with us: we’ll be here for you. 21st Century factoring

Although we’ve been around since the Victorian ages, our approach to factoring certainly isn’t stuck in the past. PMAS representation and IRPM

This year our Managing Director, Nic Mayall, was elected to serve on the board of directors of the Property Managers Association Scotland (PMAS) – the industry body which represents property factors nationally. We joined PMAS a number of years ago and take an active role in conferences, training courses and other association activities. With Nic on the board, we are in a position to have our voice heard and to help drive through improvements within the industry, which is beneficial for our customers.

We are members of the UK wide Institute of Residential Property Managers which focusses on raising the standards in the residential property management sector, and provides all of our Property Managers with independent accreditation of their professional skills.

In addition, we pride ourselves on our compliance with things like the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011 and Code of Conduct, our transparent costs, trusted contractors and dedicated property managers – all of which help ensure our customers receive exemplary customer service.
