James Gibb Staff Away Day 2018

At James Gibb, our team are one of our most important assets. We invest in the development of our people, and place an emphasis on the importance of team-building, as we believe a happy workplace is the best kind of workplace!

We run an annual staff Away Day, and after the success of last year, the James Gibb team are really looking forward to this year’s event. We will be returning to Crieff Hydro, one of Scotland’s leading spa resort hotels, on 7th May. It will be a day out of the office bringing together staff across our three locations, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, to enjoy development, team building and of course lots of fun too! We will have a range of activities for staff to enjoy in the afternoon at the Hydro’s Action Glen facility, featuring a wide range of events from off-roading to segways to archery.

We will also hold our annual award ceremony in the evening, adding a little bit of extra fun and staff recognition! The awards are light hearted and we have invited suggestions for award categories that celebrate some of the finer qualities of our talented team (Weirdest lunch? Terrible tea maker? Sharpest dresser?). We’ll be announcing the well-deserved winners after the ceremony, so keep an eye on our news to find out the victors!

It’s sure to be a great day and an opportunity for the whole James Gibb team to bond. We have our fingers crossed the weather is kind to us again this year!
